Please carefully read the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) before booking a home from Arete Vacations.
- Booking and Payment:
a. To secure a reservation, guests are required to make full payment for the entire booking.
b. Credit or debit cards are accepted as a form of payment, payment is made online. - Cancellation Policy:
a. Cancellations made 21 days or more before the check-in date will receive a 100% refund.
b. Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date will not be eligible for a refund.
c. Cancellations can only be made through email request. - Check-in and Check-out:
a. The check-in time is indicated on each accommodation page and is also available in the email booking confirmation.
b. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to an additional fee. - House Rules:
a. Guests must adhere to the house rules provided upon check-in.
b. Any violation of house rules may result in immediate eviction without refund. - Security Deposit:
a. A refundable security deposit may be required to cover any damages to the property or its contents.
b. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out, minus any deductions for damages. - Property Maintenance:
a. Guests are responsible for maintaining the property in good condition during their stay.
b. Any damages must be reported to Arete Vacations immediately.
c. In certain instances, guests may be responsible for covering substantial damages. - Utilities and Amenities:
a. The rental fee includes amenities, each accommodation has amenities.
b. Amenities are listed on each property page. - Pet Policy:
a. Pets are not allowed - Force Majeure: Arete Vacations is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government actions.
- Insurance: It is recommended that guests obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
- Changes to Terms: Arete Vacations reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our rental services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
